- To qualify for support the Corresponding Author must be affiliated with Laurentian University. Use your @laurentian.ca or @laurentienne.ca email when communicating with journal publishers.
- If prompted, select either the CRKN or OCUL Consortium to receive APC discounts.
- Who Pays? APCs are partially (e.g. 10%) or fully covered by the Library. (A research rebate for the HST applies if the expense goes through the research fund/project.)
- A complete list of these journals can be accessed as a spreadsheet using your Laurentian ID.
- You can also find journals in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) that do not charge an APC and follow best practices in open access publishing.
