Use this tool to search for Journals included in open access agreements, or that offer discounts on Article Processing Charges.
The payment options shown in the search only apply to eligible University of St Andrews corresponding authors publishing eligible article types. See our web page for full details of eligibility and publisher agreements
To be eligible, corresponding author must be a current member of staff or current student at the point of accceptance
Your St Andrews affiliation must be stated in the published article
Please use your university affiliated email address when submitting to a journal
Where a discounted APC is still payable, you may be able to claim from central funds or use individual grants. See details on central funding available.

The tool will be updated regularly, so check to ensure your journal is still covered. If no agreement applies, consider the Green route (deposit in Pure) for hybrid journals or contact us for other options.

To find out if your journal is part of an open access agreement arranged by the Library, search by journal title, subject areas, publishers or ISSN. Make sure to check information (hover over icons under 'Who pays') to see if costs are covered, or if journals may offer discounted APCs.
