Journal Search Tool

Who can use USask's open access discounts?

Typically, the corresponding author of the article needs to be affiliated with the University of Saskatchewan. This is verified during the article submission process. Please use your usask.ca email when submitting.

Don't see your journal listed?

We are constantly pursuing new agreements to expand our coverage. Check back regularly to see new additions and changes.

Journals that do not charge APCs for OA

Also consider searching the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). It is a quality-controlled list and you can refine your search to journals that do not charge APCs (known as "diamond OA journals").

Publishing in a conventional subscription journal?

You can still make your article open access for free and legally through an open online repository! You can do this through HARVEST, USask's repository for research and scholarship. We have an Upload Service available where library staff will upload your work for you in compliance with copyright polices from your publisher and funder OA policies.

Search for journals by title, subject area, publisher, or ISSN to find full or partial APC discounts provided by the University Library.
